The European Trading Championship

European traders compete across two divisions: futures and forex. Each competitor starts with 10,000 in capital, with no championship restrictions on trading style or strategy.

Follow the top five competitors through quarterly, half-year and annual standings. Annual results are tracked throughout the season as year-to-date returns.

Flexibility

Each competitor chooses their own approach to the markets. Some focus on intraday opportunities; others hold positions for longer. Discretionary trading and systematic strategies both have a place in the championship, with no championship restrictions on trading style.

Equal starting capital. Separate divisions.

Every trader starts with 10,000 in capital. Futures and forex are ranked separately, so visitors can follow performance within each market. Percentage returns provide the basis for the standings rather than the size of a competitor’s account.

Follow the season

Quarterly rankings show performance over each three-month period. Half-year rankings offer a longer view, while annual standings track progress from January through the end of the year. Before a period closes, its standings remain in progress.

What does it take to lead?

The leading return depends on the performance of competitors in that division and period. There is no fixed percentage required for first place: the five highest returns make the displayed leaderboard. A leading position in one period does not guarantee the same position in another.
